BuildConex acts on disputes arising from renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, transmission and grid-connection works. Our role is confined to claim preparation, delay analysis, quantum assessment and expert reporting, rather than technical design or project delivery.
Disputes in renewable projects commonly arise from interface risk, access constraints, delayed approvals, grid and commissioning issues, supply-chain disruption, and the interaction between EPC, balance-of-plant and specialist subcontract scopes. These issues frequently manifest as contested extension-of-time claims, variation valuation disputes and allegations of non-compliance with notice and change mechanisms.
Our analysis focuses on entitlement by reference to the contract, the programme and the contemporaneous project records. Delay is assessed by reference to causation, concurrency and criticality. Quantum is valued using the contractual mechanisms and project evidence, rather than global allowances or reconstructed narratives.
The objective is to clarify entitlement, valuation and risk so that disputes can be properly understood, tested and progressed through negotiation, adjudication, arbitration or court, as appropriate.
