Build Conex provides claim preparation and expert reporting on merit, quantum and delay for construction, infrastructure, mining and energy disputes. Our work is led by a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Quantity Surveyor and DJUR, with more than 35 years’ experience across projects and disputes in Australia, the Middle East and the United States.
We focus on the analysis of entitlement by reference to the contract, the programme and the contemporaneous project records. Delay is assessed by reference to causation, concurrency and criticality. Quantum is valued using the contractual mechanisms and project evidence, not global allowances or reconstructed narratives.
Construction disputes commonly turn on technical points: alleged failures to notify, reliance on time bars, fragmented delay analysis, and quantum claims said to lack substantiation. Our work is directed to those issues from the outset. Claims and expert material are tested, refined and reconstructed so they can withstand scrutiny in adjudication, arbitration and court.
BuildConex operates as a deliberately lean practice. This ensures senior involvement in the analysis, direct engagement with the records, and deliverables that are proportionate, defensible and usable in formal dispute processes.
